Like our popular Peter Pan
pantomime two years earlier, in Scrooge we had another classic story that
adapted well to pantomime.
You met all the expected Dickens
characters including Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit, Jacob Marley
and of course Scrooge himself, plus the odd
ghost or two, but with the traditional pantomime dame in the shape
of Nora the Tea Lady and her Crazy Comic
Chefs Sam ’n’ Ella. Romance too, with Polly and Frederic.

If you made it
your Christmas Present, you got Christmas Past and Christmas Future thrown in at no
extra charge! Even Scrooge might have approve of such a
deal. |
